İngilizce Öğreniyorum [48]- Tag Questions

Türkçe’deki "değil mi, -de/-da, tamam mı" gibi ifadelerin karşılığıdır.
 

Cümle olumlu ise Tag Question olumsuz; cümle olumsuz ise Tag Question olumlu olur. Tag Question’ları doğru yapabilmek için, öncelikle asıl cümlenin zamanını anlayıp, sonra da bu cümlenin yardımcı fiilini cümlenin sonuna tam ters olarak (olumlu ise olumsuz, olumsuz ise olumlu) getirilmelidir.

- He came to the meeting, didn’t he? (O taplantıya geldi, değil mi?) 

- She doesn’t study, does she? (O çalışmıyor, değil mi?)

- He is very rich, isn’t he? (O çok zengindir, değil mi?)

- She doesn’t live in Paris, does she? (O Paris’te yaşamaz, değil mi?)

- John went to school yesterday, didn’t he? (John dün okula gitti, değil mi?)

- Your father likes watching horror movies, doesn’t he? (Baban korku filmi seyretmeyi sever, değil mi?)

Veya "right" kelimesini tüm zamanlar için kullanabilisiniz.

- He came to the meeting, right? (O taplantıya geldi, değil mi?) 

- She doesn’t study, right? (O çalışmıyor, değil mi?)

- He is very rich,right? (O çok zengindir, değil mi?)

- She doesn’t live in Paris, right? (O Paris’te yaşamaz, değil mi?)

- John went to school yesterday, right? (John dün okula gitti, değil mi?)

- Your father likes watching horror movies,right? (Baban korku filmi seyretmeyi sever, değil mi?)
